WMAwater's 35th Birthday
This week, WMAwater celebrates its 35th birthday. To mark this milestone our offices in Sydney, Brisbane and Hobart “digitally” celebrated as whole and we were joined by Terry McKeown, Ivan Tye, and Graeme Hurrell (retired employees / directors). Richard Dewar (current Director and WMA’s longest serving employee at 35 years) shared some interesting photos and anecdotes of the company’s beginnings. The company has grown from 5 people in the Sydney office in 1983 to 35 across three states in 2018. WMAwater continues to provide a high level of technical specialisation in the fields of hydrology and floodplain hydraulics. We are actively involved in floodplain management studies, transport infrastructure studies, flood forecasting and dam hydrology.
