COVID-19 statement

WMAwater is taking all required measures to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Our top priority is the health and safety of our employees, families and our clients. We have implemented a number of policies to help keep everyone safe during the current pandemic. We have put business continuity plans in place to ensure that our operations can continue during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our team remains operational and is currently working from home.  

WMAwater is well provisioned to handle this unprecedented virus epidemic as we have our own IT staff and run an extensive inter-office network with multiple redundant links and multiple VPN access points.  We also run a series of independent collaboration tools that allow us to work collaboratively across offices and when staff work from home.  This includes both client facing and internal tools for video conference, online chat, screen sharing tools as well as multi voice and video tools. Our phone system is also designed to work on and off site.   All our IT systems are performing well with our staff working offsite. 

Our business continuity plan is helping us to mitigate negative impacts on our operational performance and project delivery.   We will continue to make sure we are as efficient and time effective as possible with our client work.  We understand the importance of maintaining a high level of service and we will endeavour to meet our commitments. At this stage we do not anticipate major disruptions to our services to you, but  we will discuss any impacts with you in the event that this changes. We ask for your understanding, as there will be some inefficiencies associated with all our team members working from home.

We value client contact and, to this end, our  team is able to be contacted and conduct meetings via video applications and voice meetings.  Your WMAwater representative will provide you with contact details if required.

We will continue to refer to information provided by the Australian Department of Health and relevant State Departments of Health, as we review the evolving situation, and we will keep you informed if our situation changes.
